Parmarth Niketan


It is one of the top Yoga centres in India and the biggest ashram situated on the banks of holy Ganges river. Founded in 1942 by Swami Shukdevanand Saraswati. It has now blossomed over 70 years of its existence into the largest ashram in Rishikesh. It is famous for its Havan on the Ghat of Parmarth and Ganga aarti that takes place daily in the morning & evening.

Beatles Ashram


Formerly known as Chaurasi Kutia, Beatles Ashram happens to be a popular ashram located at Rishikesh in Uttarakhand. The place received a lot of hype and achieved wide recognition after the Beatles band of Liverpool came to stay there in the year 1986. The members of the band practiced meditation and composed many good songs in this place. The major attractions of the ashram include its stunning dome-shaped construction, amazing graffiti works, and the beautiful picture of the members of the Beatles band painted in one of the interior walls of Ved Bhavan.

The Ganga Aarti At Triveni Ghat


Also called the Maha Aarti, it is an evening prayer performed on the banks of the River Ganga. A major highlight of the ghat, it attracts towards from all corners of the world. Accompanied with chanting of bhajans, beating drums and bells. People light diyas, put them on flower-filled leaf boats and release them in the holy waters, making for a beautiful sight.

Trayambakeshwar Temple


Located near Laxman Jhula, Trayambakeshwar is one of the most important holy shrines in Rishikesh. The temple is a 13-storied building with different Hindu deities inside. Mainly the shrine is considered as the abode of Lord Shiva as the name Trayambakeshwar means the same, ‘The Abode Of Three-Eyed’. The temple is believed to be one among the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. There are many sections in the temple which comprise of Vedic and religious works.
The temple gets flocked by several devotees and other travellers who come to visit Laxman Jhula- the hanging bridge. Trayambakeshwar is not only visited to seek blessings, but also to enjoy the scenic surrounding formed by striking Himalayan ranges. Devotees also pay a visit to Swarg Niwas Mandir which is in the vicinity to this scared spot.
