IHCL Expands SeleQtions Portfolio in Haridwar with the Opening of Hari Ganga Niwas

Once the ancestral home of the Prasad Family and formerly known as Haveli Hari Ganga, this century-old residence has stood by the revered Ganges since 1913. Today, it welcomes guests as an intimate 15-key boutique retreat, still a home at heart where ‘unhurried ease’ is a way of life. Thoughtfully restored to preserve its legacy of heartfelt hospitality, the Niwas retains the warmth and intimacy of a cherished family home in every detail—from polished architecture and calm courtyards to Ghar Se, the all-day dining restaurant serving all-vegetarian ghar ka khaana crafted from hyperlocal ingredients.

Rooms are designed as serene sanctuaries, some Ganges-facing but all offering homely spaces to linger. Healing flows at a personal pace through traditional wellness practices designed to restore balance. Days unfold in gentle rhythm: morning temple bells and panoramic river views, heritage walks through Haridwar’s old quarters, interactive culinary journeys, and evenings crowned by the Ganga aarti at the hotel’s private ghat—a timeless ritual shared in intimate company.
