The Doon Valley is spread over an area of 1740 sq km at the
base of the Shivalik hills and is intersected by innumerable
streams during the rainy season. The valley is bound on either
side by the two major life-giving rivers, Ganga & Yamuna,
and is perennially lush with greenery.
