Nagtibba Trek

The starting point of the trek and the finishing point are easily accessible and are close to Dehradun. So close, yet one can reach an altitude of more than 3000 mts and hike in an absolutely remote region with almost no habitation. At Nag Tibba top you will have the whole place to yourself with just an odd Gujjar/shephard sharing the magnificent views with you. From here one gets a fabulous view of the Himalayan snow peaks of the Garhwal and Himachal. Some of the famous peaks that are visible from here include the Bundar Poonch, Swargarohini, Srikanth and Black Peaks. On this day one gets to pass through a couple of very beautiful villages situated amidst thick Deodar forests. Another great attraction of this trip would be the camping experience. There are beautiful meadows and thick jungles along the trail offering numerous scenic camping locations. This trek is suitable for people of all age groups having reasonable fitness.

Day 01: Delhi – Haridwar – 210 Kms( Drive 5-6 Hrs)

Arrive Haridwar. Local sightseeing and evening Arti at Har Ki Pauri. Overnight at The Haveli Hari Ganga- A Heritage Hotel.

DAY 02: Haridwar- Pathwari( 1524 Mtrs) – 130 Kms – 5 Hrs

Drive to Pathwari via Musoorie. Overnight at Pathwari in Rest House.

Day 03- - Pathwari – Nagtibba ( 3048 Mtrs)

From Pathwari we will start our trek to reach Nagtibba base. This trek is of approximately 6/7 kms and will take us about 4 to 5 hrs. The trail is pretty steep throughout. We will stop enroute for refreshments and lunch. By Early evening we will arrive at the campsite. Post arrival we will set up our camp for the night. After a refreshing cup of tea/coffee we will explore the beautiful surroundings. In the night we will enjoy a sumptuous meal around a bonfire.

Day 04- Nagtiba - Nagtibba Top( 3285 Mtrs) and back

After an early breakfast we will hike for about 2 kms to reach the Nagtibba top. From here we will enjoy the majestic views of the snow clad mountain ranges of Garhwal and Himachal. You will get to see the famous Swargarohini, Bandarpoonch, Srikanth , Black peak and among many other peaks from here. We will have picnic lunch here and spend the whole afternoon relaxing. After evening tea we will hike for about 2 kms to reach today’s campsite. In the evening we will collect dry wood and get a small bonfire going. Enjoy your freshly prepared dinner and crash into your sleeping bags.

Day 05- Nagtibba to Devalsari.( 2231 Mtrs)

Overnight stay at Camp at the Camp in Devalsari.

Day 06- Trek Develsari to Thatyur.( 1640 Mtrs)- Drive to Haridwar – Drive 130 Kms

Drive down from Thatyur to Mussoorie to Haridwar. Overnight at The Haveli Hari Ganga.

Day 07- Haridwar- Delhi

Post Breakfast leave for onward journey.
