The Dhikala Canter Safari -The Canter Safari, a first of
its kind of project run jointly by The Forest Department and The
Corbett Hideaway started way back in 1996. After 10 years of
successful PPP Relationship, the Dept. on the basis of this
relationship now increased the number of Canters to four.
Largest Rafting Beach in Rishikesh - Leisure Hotels runs
the largest river beach near Kaudiyala in Rishikesh for the last
5 years. We have been pioneers in offering a luxurious stay to
all the guests at the camp with attached bath and running hot &

The Chardham Camps (Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri &
Yamunotri) - We run camps at Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri &
Yamunotri for the last 4 years which are again in remote areas.
It was only due to the fact that we have a large resource base
of technical, managerial & operational staff that we have
been able to serve thousands of pilgrim seekers to their
satisfaction in base camps like Harsil, Barkot, and Guptkashi &
Joshimath.
Restoration of 100 year old Haveli in Haridwar - We had
in our possession an ancient Haveli on the banks of the River
Ganges in Haridwar for the last 100 years. In 2003 we converted
this Haveli into a beautiful “Heritage Hotel” which
has now become the toast of town and is critically appreciated
by all who visit this Holy Town.

experience at our wildlife lodges are unparalleled, leading to a

Mahaseer Conservation – Leisure Hotels Ltd
shoulders the forest department of Uttarakhand in conserving
Mahaseer (River Fish) in a particular stretch of Ramganga River
in the reserve forest. This is one of its kind initiatives by
the government to involve private operators in the conservations
of forest and its habitat. Leisure Hotels Ltd through its
property The Hideaway River Lodge, keeps a constant vigil on the
Ramganga River provides food to the fishes and involves local
villagers in the angling experience of the guests.

We had a marketing association with Claridges Hotels for a
decade (1995 – 2005) that helped us build a brand in

Leisure Hotels has built two resorts for Club Mahindra in
Naukuchiyatal & Corbett National Park in Uttarakhand. Club

History
Leisure Hotels is a
dominant player in Uttarakhand’s tourism and hotel sector
with its portfolio of resorts & luxury camps in the state’s
tourist & scenic destinations, offering largest inventory in
the state .Leisure Hotels Limited (LHL) was originally
incorporated as Private Limited Co. named “Prasad Safari P.
Ltd.”
It has ventured in to the hospitality industry in Sept 1989
when the promoters opened the gates of The Naini Retreat,
located on the southern lee-ward slopes of the Nainital Hills
facing the Naini Lake which was once the residence of the
Maharaja of Pilibhit (Prasad Family) and still enjoys the
beauty, ambience and grandeur of a palace. The Ayarpatta slopes
are virgin territory and are not congested and commercialized.
The flora and fauna of the Kumaon Range is in abundance on this
side of the township.
Since then Leisure Hotels Ltd has been adding hotels and camps
in it portfolio every year either through own hotels or through
management and marketing of boutique properties at strategic
locations.
Our past associations with The Claridges, Camping in Mahakumbh
with Cox & Kings, Club Mahindra (Mahindra Holidays &
