Weather Information
The weather of the holy city of Haridwar varies between
searing hot summers and extremely cold winters. It is
interesting to note the remarkable temperature difference
between day and night. The mercury soars up to 40.9º
Celsius during the day and dips down to 15.6º Celsius at
night during the sweltering summers. Winters, however, are
much cooler and temperatures vary between 16.6º Celsius
during the day and 0.6º Celsius at night. The driving
monsoon downpours are a welcome break from the dreary summers
and breathe wafts of freshness in the city.
One of India's prime pilgrimage sites, Haridwar is always
teeming with devout Hindus throughout the year irrespective of
its climatic conditions. For tourists, the best season for
Haridwar tour would be between October to March.
