Do Dham - Yamunotri & Gangotri


Duration - 06 Nights/ 07 days

Day 01- Delhi - Haridwar (210 kms/6 Hours)
Depart for Haridwar by road. (214 kms / 6 hrs). Lunch enroute. Upon arrival at Haridwar, check in at your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the city on your own. Evening Ganga Arti at Har Ki Pauri. Dinner & Overnight at The Haveli Hari Ganga or similar at Haridwar..

Day 02- Haridwar – Barkot (175kms/7hrs)
After breakfast, we proceed to Barkot . Time permitting you can also visit Kempty Falls on the way. En-route enjoy delicious lunch at wayside restaurant .Barkot is a place of great scenic beauty with spectacular views of snow-capped mountains all around. A magnificent view of the eternal snow peaks of Bandar punch can be seen from here. Dinner and overnight at The Chardham Camp, Barkot.

Day 03- Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot (38kms/2hrs, local taxi drive 7 Kms/1hrs, 6kms/3hrs  trek one side)
After early breakfast, we will proceed to Hanumanchatti via Syanachatti(5 kms. Before Hanumanchatti). From here local taxis are available for Jankichatti. From Jankichatti we begin our trek to Yamunotri (6 km/ 3 hrs) to visit the temple of Goddess Yamuna, situated on the bank of the river. You can take a holy dip in the nearby tank filled by hot springs and cook rice in its water, the common rituals performed by the devotees. We return to Barkot in the evening. Dinner and Overnight at The Chardham Camp, Barkot.

Day 04- Barkot – Harsil (174 kms,8 hrs)
After breakfast, we will proceed to Harsil – one the most beautiful valleys in the world. En-route we will stop at Uttarkashi to visit Vishwanath Temple & then Gangnani for hot water spring dip. Time permitting we can also see Parketswer Temple in a natural cave . It is 150 meters trek from the main road.Dinner and overnight at The Chardham Camp, Harsil.

Day 05- Harsil – Gangotri – Uttarkashi (110 Kms total)
After breakfast, we proceed to Gangotri (22 kms/1 hr). On arrival take a holy dip in the River scared The Ganges, also called Bhagirathi at its origin. Perform pooja and relax in the lovely surrounding. In the afternoon return back to Harsil for Lunch . Post Lunch proceed for Maneri- 65kms drive. Dinner and overnight at The Chardham Camp, Maneri, Uttarkashi.

Day 06 –Uttarkashi( Maneri) – Haridwar (240 Kms/ 6 Hrs)
After early breakfast leave from Maneri , enroute Tea/ Coffee & Lunch (packed) at Chamba. Arrive Haridwar by evening & proceed for your onward journey.

Dinner and overnight at Haridwar or Rishikesh.

Day 07 - Haridwar/Rishikesh – Delhi -06 Hrs
After a leisurely breakfast depart to New Delhi. (210 kms / 6 hrs) We hope you take back happy memories of Chardham Tour.
