The Corbett National Park chiefly enjoys a temperate weather in comparison to other protected areas of India. The elevation of the Park ranges between 400 - 1210 meters. Temperature during winters vary between 5°C (41 °F) to 30 °C (86 °F), along with some foggy mornings as well. Summer temperatures generally do not cross 40 °C (104 °F) while rainfall ranges from light during the dry season to heavy during the monsoons.

The favorable location and climate of the park has been instrumental for its rare and splendid wildlife biodiversity.
