Dining At The Corbett Hideaway, you not only get to
choose from a wide variety of Continental and Indian cuisines,
but also savour specialties of the Kumaon region from time to
time. There is also an in-house bakery & patisserie to tempt
you even if you don't have a sweet tooth.
The food served in this Indian wildlife resort consists of a
great variety, with special emphasis on the freshness of
produce. (Remember to ask for minestrone soup, which even though
a wee bit spicy, is lip smacking. Also give a try to the chicken
Kakori kebabs to give your palate exciting information on
gourmet cooking!).
Restaurants & Bars
Gurney House: So called after the house where
Jim Corbett spent many years in Nainital, this multi-cuisine
restaurant serves a variety of Indian, Mughlai, Chinese and
Continental cuisines. The specialties of the Kumaon region are
also a favourite feature on the menu.
The High Bank: This open deck-area adjacent to
the restaurant and overlooking the Kosi is very popular with
guests who want to enjoy their meals listening to soothing sound
emanating from the river.
Jim's Grill: This specialty grill house,
located close to the swimming pool, is a round, open
'machhan-like' structure with stools around the center. This "Gole
Ghar" has a tree running through its middle. Whilst you are
in this wildlife resort, the mountain air will make you hungry
and without doubt, you will find yourself spending some time at
the Grill House trying out our Chef's delicacies.
The Tusker Bar: This thematic bar is located
right next to the pool. It has a good collection of
international & domestic beverages. While at The Tusker Bar,
do not forget to ask the bartender for "Hideaway Moods",
an exotic cocktail made with vodka and gin. We even encourage
you to get behind the bar to whip up your cocktails!
Cigar Lounge: This sophisticated hangout lets
you loosen your spirits in its intoxicating ambience. The
exclusive cigar lounge is the perfect place to chill out with
your dear ones.
So come and experience a heavenly medley of rich flavors and
textures- a taste worth remembering for life! |
